The restaurant had a static solution for their menu screens. However, they were looking for a system where the staff could update the content daily, with the food of the day. They also wanted to be able to advertise after work among other activities.
The content varies completely automatically
It’s important to SSP to be able to schedule their content to the point where they can show the lunch of the day up until after lunch to then switch the content to something else regarding the restaurant. SPP also wanted to have another screen in the reception, showing information about the customers and their orders.
The solution from Mediascreen consists of a screen with built in players made by Samsung in the reception. That screen also has an external player connected to the other screens in the restaurant. Through working with special playlists and a smart schedule, the screens at the restaurant switch message and content three times a day, completely automatically.
