Digital signage indoors and outdoors at Berwaldhallen

Berwaldhallen is located in Stockholm and is one of the country’s most important culture institutions, where hundreds of concerts are hosted every year. The concert hall manages to communicate with people outside thanks to mediascreen’s screens.

It’s very important to Berwaldhallen to be active 24/7, and when they aren’t they present what they do through advertisements. While starting our collaboration, we clearly saw that Berwaldhallen wanted flexible, easily administered system with the possibility of scheduling the content.

Five channels for the screens

Berwaldhallen are currently showing information about coming concerts, assemblies, when they are open as well as their event calendar. That content being on all of their screens. Mediascreen solved the problem by creating five different channels for all of the screens.

The hardware is built on a combination of media players and our application for samsung’s Smart Signage Platform. This solution doesn’t require a separate media player – everything is controlled through the screen’s internal logic.

About the customer

The concert hall is a part of Sveriges radio and is also the home stage for Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester as well as Radiokören. These orchestras and choirs have become important ambassadors abroad because of tours and performances all over the world.
